I saw this on another Board and thought it was kinda cool. Just post whatever is in your head right now. Nothing is too stupid to not post it. Ok, hope that was right, with so many negations I'm confused. Mmmmm....lunch is ready and afterwards I guess I'll lay down again, I'm really tired somehow and I should learn some more Math. Blargh

Soo...this is a really long thought related to my last thought...
My review of WICKED!!!
Kendra Kassebaum was fairly good, although she tried a little to hard to be nasal. She was very peppy and quite funny; however, she seemed to have a penchant for flashing the audience (her rendition of Popular was somewhat risque, although the guys on the trip enjoyed it!). Julia Murney was fantastic! Her voice was like nothing I'd ever heard before, and she brought something totally new to the role. She was a little short, and was continually pushing her glasses back up her nose, but other than that she was incredible. My only complaint is that she did something weird with the end of Defying Gravity, making the "AHHHH!" at then end sound more like "Yeawoh!", which was unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe. Like my "subtle" reference? During the wand and broom fight towards the end, Kendra accidentally slammed herself in the thigh with her wand while she was twirling it, but she covered very nicely, saying, "Well, I guess YOU won THAT one!", but she had a noticeable limp for the rest of the show. The flying monkeys weren't able to fly over the audience, so we had to settle for them flying around the stage. P.J. Benjamin was the Wizard, and he was incredibly funny. Very cute in the role, and quite an adept when it came to softshoe-ing it during Wonderful. The people sitting near me (AKA my classmates) were the most uncouth people I've ever met. During For Good, they were laughing, during the "melting" they laughed, when Elphaba came out of her trap door, they laughed. And then when my friends and I joined in the standing ovation, the kids sitting behind us started yelling "Down in front! Sit down! Down in front!". Don't tell me you stand during a standing ovation! And did I mention that they TALKED through the entire performance and then tried to get up and leave before the curtain call? And then came the BEST part...I got to go backstage and meet the actors! There was a special one-time drawing that our school arranged for our school group, and one ticket stub was pulled and that person got to pick 4 people to go with them backstage for a tour. So when they said "Ampitheatre, section E, row E, seat 108", I almost passed out! I took My English teacher, my principal, and my two best friends back with me. It was so incredible. I got to watch the hydraulic lift system up close! It was so cool! And Julia and Kendra were so nice! I had started singing Defying Gravity subconsciously, and Julia, who was standing next to me, goes, "Get this girl out of here! She's threatening my job!" And then we got to go to their dressing rooms and stuff, and I got to sign this thingy that usually only the actors get to sign for the touring company. It's a guest-book type of thing that the actors write in. And then they gave me a signed poster, which I'm getting framed. And of course, I didn't bring my camera because I wasn't expecting a photo op. Darn!
